Breaking A Brooding Hen

When a hen goes “Broody” that means they are feeling “Motherly” and want to set on some eggs to hatch out new babies. Many times that is a good thing, and folks let them do just that… to get new chickens for meat, for sale, or to replace some older hens or roosters.

Sometimes, it’s not desired. If not, she will need that hormonal, motherly instinct to be broken.

Here’s what worked for me.

I watched your Texas Greenhouse video and it stated to write and ask for the PDF on creating it. Your design is amazing, simple, and super creative. I will definately have fun making it. I will send you photos once I’ve made it. I have a very small starter farm in Sebring Florida.
